Chat with Video

ChatGPT now has the capability to interact with video content, opening up a world of possibilities for media interaction and education.  ChatGPT, a language model developed by OpenAI, has always been known for its ability to generate human-like text based on the prompts it receives. Now, it has been enhanced with a new functionality that allows it to interact with video content. This means that ChatGPT can now load a video, analyze its content, and provide a summary or answer questions about it. This was demonstrated in a recent experiment (below at the end of the post) where ChatGPT was asked to summarize a YouTube video about business analysis. You can watch the original video here:  In this experiment, ChatGPT was asked to summarize the YouTube video about business analysis. To accomplish this, the AI used the chatwithvideo.loadVideo plugin to load the video using its YouTube ID. The plugin extracted the transcript of the video, which ChatGPT then processed and summarized ...

Visualizing Organizational Structures with AI: A Leap Forward in Management and Education

Today's experiment is about the ability of AI to generate visual representations from text-based dialogues. This capability, as demonstrated by OpenAI's ChatGPT and its 'Show Me' plugin, might have profound implications for management and education. ChatGPT has been trained on a diverse range of internet text. However, its ability to understand and generate text is not its only strength. With the help of plugins like 'Show Me', ChatGPT can now create visual diagrams based on the information provided in a text-based dialogue. Consider the task of creating an organizational chart. Traditionally, this would require manual effort to gather the necessary information, decide on the structure, and then design the chart. With ChatGPT and the 'Show Me' plugin, this process is streamlined. The AI can understand the hierarchical relationships described in a conversation and generate a visual organizational chart. This ability to find structure in text-based dialogu...

ChatGPT predicts Real Estate Prices !

Is it possible to predict real estate rental prices without writing a single line of code? I asked ChatGPT to generate a complete solution. And was stunnded by its answers... Artificial Intelligence has once again pushed the boundaries of what we thought was possible. The AI field has presented us with a stunning demonstration of its ability to not only assist in writing code, but to single-handedly create a complete, working Random Forest Regression solution. Yes, you read that right. ChatGPT, an AI model developed by OpenAI, is now proficient enough to autonomously develop a complex web application to predict real estate prices. And the most exciting part? You don’t need to write a single line of code! How Does it Work? In a fascinating experiment (below at the end of the post), ChatGPT was tasked with developing a complete web solution on PythonAnywhere. The brief was complex: create a webpage where users could upload a CSV file with geographical coordinates and real estate rental p...

ChatGPT beyond 2021 - An Insight Into AI's Interaction with Real-time Data

Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to make significant strides, integrating more seamlessly into our daily lives. A key player in this evolution is OpenAI, which has recently unveiled a new beta feature for ChatGPT: web browsing. This addition opens up an exciting range of possibilities and implications for data actuality, business analysis, education, and the broader vision of a global, up-to-date brain. What is the Web Browsing Beta Feature? The web browsing feature essentially extends ChatGPT's abilities by allowing it to interact with the internet in real-time. It can issue queries to a search engine, read the results, click on search results to view full page content, store useful information, and even scroll through pages. This feature is still in its beta stage and, therefore, doesn't support transactional operations such as submitting forms on webpages. Implications on Data Actuality The introduction of this feature marks a significant leap towards addressing one of...

AI meets MIRO - Intelligent Mind Mapping

In a thrilling breakthrough for the world of ideation and creative problem-solving, the integration of AI into traditional mind-mapping techniques has just revolutionized the way we generate and explore ideas. Check out the experiment at the end of the blog. You will be amazed! MIRO's AI-assisted expansion of mindmap nodes, a concept once constrained to the realm of science fiction, is now a reality that's reshaping our approach to innovation. MIRO's AI can instantly suggest numerous related concepts, references, and insights, thereby expanding a single node into a rich, multidimensional web of interconnected ideas.  This is an extraordinary leap from the manual, often time-consuming process of brainstorming and mind-mapping. Associating AI to mindmapping not only assists in broadening our idea generation but also in reaching a depth of detail and complexity that was previously unattainable. It's as if we have unlocked a hidden chamber in the labyrinth of creativity, op...

From Mind to Map to Text within minutes

The process of generating ideas and translating them into actionable plans or text is a crucial aspect of many industries, including education, research, and business. However, this translation can often be difficult. This is where the power of mind maps and OpenAI tools come in. By using these tools in combination, it is possible to seamlessly generate text from mere unstructured ideas within minutes. This breakthrough potential for ideation has far-reaching implications, particularly in education. One of the key benefits of using mind maps is that they help to organize and structure ideas. Mind maps are visual representations of ideas that use diagrams and hierarchies to show relationships and connections between different concepts. By creating a mind map, it is possible to see how different ideas are related and to identify key themes and patterns. This makes it much easier to move from unstructured ideas to concrete plans or strategies. But the power of mind maps doesn't end th...

ChatPDF : Conversations with (long) documents

One of the most promising recent developments of AI-ChatBots is the ability to engage in conversations with documents. This breakthrough has the potential to revolutionize the way we access and process information, particularly in the realm of education. However, it also raises essential questions about the future of learning and assessment methods. AI-enabled conversations with tools like ChatPDF (see the experiment below) can accelerate knowledge acquisition by allowing students to engage with learning materials more interactively and on a personalized level. This can lead to more efficient and effective learning experiences, fostering collaboration across disciplines and creating a more comprehensive understanding of complex subjects. Additionally, AI can help teachers identify patterns and trends, enabling them to make better decisions and facilitate smoother transitions in curricula and teaching methods. Despite these potential benefits, there are valid concerns about the implica...

AI, Sudoku and the lily pond - the acceleration of the digital transformation

On November 8, 2022, I gave a keynote on digital trends at the Museum of Transport in Lucerne. On November 30 came ChatGPT. On December 15, I cancelled my Christmas vacation to completely review my courses and lectures and dive (deeply) into the AI pond. What happened? To understand what happened, let's first do a short mental exercise: I've been following the development of digitalization for over 25 years. So let's assume there is an idyllic pond, somewhere in a beautiful corner of the forest. There are beautiful water lilies in the pond. They have been growing steadily lately. Let's assume that the area of the pond covered by the water lilies has doubled every week over the last 25 years. Today, half of the pond is covered by water lilies. How long will it take until it is completely covered by water lilies? The answer to the water lily question above is: one week . This story is about exponential growth. What went down with A.I. use late last year is comparable to t...

Beyond AI Assistance? A word on Closed Bot Exams

The world of education has seen significant changes over the years, with technology playing an increasingly important role in the way we learn, teach and do exams. In this blog post, we'll explore this transformation, the challenges it presents, and the potential benefits and drawbacks of what I call closed bot exams . As artificial intelligence (AI) tools like ChatGPT have become more sophisticated, they pose challenges when it comes to assessing students' knowledge and skills fairly. In the experiment at the end of this blog, ChatGPT has correctly solved 86 of 89 multiple choice questions in the field of Business Analysis. Such performances naturally lead to the idea of closed bot exams, which prohibit the use of AI tools during assessments. Implementing closed bot exams requires a combination of organizational and technical measures. Organizational measures involve setting clear guidelines and expectations for students, emphasizing academic integrity, and providing training...
